I love being a speech-language pathologist. One of my favorite aspects of the profession is when my clients come to key moments in their therapy, like learning a previously challenging skill, and gaining confidence in themselves. My clients can expect to be treated with respect, and to receive skilled support in their pursuit of specific speech, language, and communication outcomes.
I have spent time working with clients of various ages, including toddlers, school-aged children, and adults; I continue to be open to working with communicators of all ages.
I am in good standing with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC) and am a certified member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). I am trained and certified in Hanen’s It Takes Two to Talk® parent coaching program. I regularly add to my professional know-how in research areas such as literacy, language development, accent management, cognition, and myofunctional issues, among others.
I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures. I speak English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and am learning a fourth language in my spare time.
