Garvita Aggarwal – Speech-Language Pathologist
I am a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with over a decade of experience in India. I have been practicing in Canada since October 2024.
My passion lies in helping children and adults achieve their communication goals. I provide comprehensive care for individuals in need of assessment and rehabilitation of a wide range of Speech and language disorders, including Phonological Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Aphasia, Dysarthria, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, ASD, etc. I have a particular interest in working with children with special needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder and speech and language delays.
My professional experience spans both private and public sector clinics in India, where I have honed my skills in assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of various communication disorders. I have had the privilege of collaborating with neurologists and pediatricians under one roof, enriching my multidisciplinary approach.
I am proficient in English and Hindi, which allows me to effectively communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, I can comprehend Punjabi and express myself in simple Punjabi, enabling me to empower parents and grandparents in this multilingual world to practice communication goals with their children at home for outstanding outcomes.
Witnessing the positive impact of speech and language therapy on my clients as their communication skills improve is incredibly rewarding. This has been my driving force since I entered this field.
