Hi, I’m Graham. I’ve been interested in speech and language my whole life, and am grateful to able to work in this field every day. It lets me spend my time helping people to connect and reconnect with the world around them in big ways and small ones, and to help the world connect with them in return. Whether that’s asking a friend to play, ordering a cup of coffee, or just telling somebody how much you love them, I believe everyone has the right to make themselves heard.
I grew up in Burnaby and graduated from Simon Fraser University, where I majored in linguistics with an extended minor in psychology. From there I moved to Edmonton to obtain my master’s degree in speech-language pathology. I had excellent placement experiences at both the Edmonton Public School Board and the Centennial Center for Mental Health and Brain Injury, where I worked with a variety of clients across a broad range of ages and disorders.
Now, I’m back where I belong (in BC!) and am excited to be working with the Sunrise team. I’m a member in good standing with both Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) and the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of BC (CSHBC). In my free time, I enjoy soccer, reading, hiking, and playing board games with friends.
