Maya Vinogradov

My name is Maya Vinogradov, and I am a RASP BCBA in the province of British Columbia.

My journey in the field of Autism started in 2005 when I received my first behaviour intervention job in a specialized school in the Toronto area. While working at the school with kids on the autism spectrum I realized how special and important it is to create meaningful connections while teaching functional skills.

My interest in Autism and ABA has emerged and been reinforced throughout my educational and work experiences. I graduated from York University with an Honours BA in Psychology, and received a Masters of Professional Education Degree in Applied Behavioural Analysis from Western University in Ontario.

Throughout my professional career I have been teaching children with special needs academic, social, play, self regulation, behavioural and self help skills through the principles of ABA. The focus of my therapy has always been neuro affirming and rooted in positive reinforcement and creating connections with clients and their caregivers.

Throughout my career I have worked in specialized schools, residential settings, public schools, pre-schools and homes with a great variety of individuals and supervisors.

My profession gives me a great deal of satisfaction and at the same time makes me more passionate about future possibilities.

I provide ABA therapy and positive behavior support to individuals with ASD as well as their families and caregivers. My primary areas of focus include:
